Taught in the side-lying position as recommended by the American College of OB/GYN, we approach this sacred session with reverence and respect. Much focus is given on intention, comfort, and communication to “Nurture the Nurturer” on your table. Students will demonstrate proper bolstering and identify contraindications to safely perform this session. The class is divided into 2 hours lecture and demonstration, followed by 2 hour supervised and detailed trades.
Julie Bevel, NCB# 4451177-09 first began teaching as the Lead Therapist for 5 Diamond Bellagio Spa & Salon in Las Vegas, NV. After 7 years as their #1 trainer and educator, she decided to make the entrepreneurial leap and bought a Spa in the Chicago suburbs. Her passion for Prenatal Massage – and sharing her vast expertise – is evident to anyone who attends her classes. She uses a 3-prong approach to learning, incorporating a combination of lecture, demo, and hands-on trades, making sure everyone in the class gets individual attention and an opportunity to at least begin to master the techniques being showcased.
